Popularity of Idaho Fly Fishing

"Popularity of Idaho Fly Fishing" is written by YellowStoneFly of the Idaho Fly Fishers blog with a major contribution from Owen Penfield Fox on page 28 of the Pennsylvania State Game and Fish monthly periodical "Pennsylvania Angler-Boater, April of 1949".

This publication caught my eye online because the most avid Idaho fly fisher I know was born that month and year. The entire 28 pages is really a cool read, so enjoy. There are actually some neat fly fishing pearls in here which are appropriate even for today's fly fishing enthusiast.

Nantahala River, North Carolina
According to one online resource, "Fishing ranks as the 4th most popular participation sport in the nation (today). It ranks ahead of bicycling, bowling, basketball, golf, jogging, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, football and skiing. Only walking, swimming and camping are more popular." So come fly fish Idaho and let's make our sport #1.
