Idaho - Year Round Fishery

Happy New Year - Dec 19th with a small break in the bitter cold made it up to the Cda (Coeur d'Alene) River for some late season cold weather fishing and to see if I could use your advice ...

I had in mind the heavy slow moving flies you spoke of in a recent blog post. Like to share a few photos

I took 52 photos today of about a dozen nice colorful fish ..I had to check the month of Dec. off my list for landing fish to show that Idaho is a good Year Round Fishery ...

Tight Lines  Thru the Year ahead of Us.

YellowStoneFly please feel free to us any photo's. As far as how I caught fish I had a big white rabbit hair/fur Zonker. My fishing buddy did really good on a green wooly bugger. Just streamer fishing, Slow and low with no indicators.
Thank You, HAPPY HOLIDAYS. Tight Lines throughout 2014.
