Fly Fishing CanUSA

Elk River Bull Trout, Fernie, BC, Canada
Elk River Cutty
Did you know there is a shared lake in Montana and British Columbia. The name is Koocanusa--Kootenai River, Canada and USA. The only reason I know this is because IDFFA member Kevin Shotgun informed me of such and I always believe everything he says.

Clark Fork River, Montana
Des Chutes River, OR
Well the following is an email again from an IDFFA member Ron Big Chief telling of his recent fly fishing exploits out west this summer in the lower 48. He wanted to go to fish in BC, but ran out of time, so I have thrown in a few photos from a recent trip of my own in Fernie, BC, Canada with another IDFFA fishing friend KSY.

"Hi YellowStoneFly (IdahoAngler@live.com),

Well, all good things come to an end. Our 91 day, 18 state, RV trip is over. Final results 316 trout caught in NE, MT, ID, WA, OR, CA, NV, UT, CO and NM. Fished many new streams and rivers. Saw a lot of beautiful country. Sorry we didn't get to fish this trip. Maybe next time. I would be glad to share any info on the places I fished with other blog members hope you have a great day.

Ron (Big Chief) V"
Enjoy! Hard takes, tight lines and screaming reels all through the fall.
