Postcard, ID

The boss and I went to a local rodeo last evening. It was a most beautiful summer evening here. Maybe 67-68 degrees with almost no humidity. The sunset was spectacular. When the rodeo began around 7 pm, the MC made a comment which really stuck. He said that they had done the rodeo multiple years at this same site and that this area of Idaho was one of the most beautiful his group gets to visit in the west. In his opinion, if he were to ask a local where they were from, they should say that they live in "Postcard, ID".

When I tell people, including family, that I live in Idaho, they always ask me WHY? You can now take a brief look for yourself. Here are some shots from "Postcard, ID" (and these represent only a very small area of Idaho). Sorry, we have no really large cities. So if it's theater and nightlife at a club you seek, please go elsewhere.

My wife and I have only had a presence here since 1998,
and a full time presence since 2010.
If only I knew then what I know now.

We have traveled all over and.....

there is a no more beautiful place to live than right here in Idaho

The wildlife is incredible.....

.....and don't forget the fishing.....

.....and the horseback riding.....

..... and simply relaxing. Enjoy!

Hard takes and tight lines and screaming reels. Come and try Idaho fly fishing soon. Life really is short!
